Biography
Having wanted to be an actor since he was 7 years old, Ryan has pursued his career independently and cites Sigourney Weaver's performance in "Alien" as his initial inspiration and Harrison Ford as his role model. A lover of darker roles and sarcasm, Ryan goes over the top but knows when to bring it back down. Playing the title character in "Nyar" he channeled his inner demi-god to bring forth a reimagining of one of H.P. Lovecraft's more notorious Old Ones. Also a passion project, "Nyar" was written and directed by Brewer.
Another passion project, "Larry & The Monsters" was Ryan's second major directorial debut and gave him a chance to push his character and the story in a new direction. He's not afraid to push the limits of cinema and storytelling as well as his own body to bring a character to life.
